This breath-taking six day trek will take you on a journey through one of Africa’s most magnificent sights and one of the ultimate goals for trekkers across the world. You’ll trek to the roof of Africa through changing scenery and across breathtaking landscapes to watch dawn break over the savannah. You’ll walk alongside a group of like-minded trekkers all with the same goal; to reach the summit and help fight male cancer. You’ll return home with ever-lasting memories and an incredible sense of achievement after completing the challenge of a lifetime and helping to save men’s lives back in the UK.

You can register for this event by clicking on the documents below to download the Itinerary and further information about the trek, along with the Application Form, Medical Form and Altitude notes which you’ll need to read and complete in order to book your place on the trek. Please note, places on this trek are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis so don’t delay and sign up today!
We are asking everyone to pay an entry fee of £250 to secure your place on the trek which funds all non-travel costs such as our admin costs and marketing costs, and then raise a minimum sponsorship of £3,200 which will cover the costs of the trip (appx £1,600) and the remaining £1,600 will help fund our work. You can choose to fundraise the full £3,200 or pay the costs of £1,600 yourself and fundraise for the remaining £1,600. We will however support you with plenty of ideas and advice with the fundraising to ensure you reach and hopefully exceed your target. Page 3 of the Information PDF gives a thorough breakdown of what is included within the minimum sponsorship and anything extra you will need to provide.
With 35,000 cases of prostate cancer, and 2,000 testicular cancer cases per year, the incidence of male-specific cancers is relentlessly approaching the number of breast cancer cases. In challenging times we need your support more than ever to help save men’s lives from these devastating diseases.

Please note that once you’ve signed up for the trek we will be sending you an even more detailed event pack complete with training advice, fundraising ideas and guidelines, packing checklist etc. We will also be holding an information day in February time along with our tour operator The Ultimate Travel Company to give you a chance to come and find out more about the trek, Kilimanjaro itself, Orchid and of course to meet the team and fellow trekkers.
