Fundraising Ideas

Orchid’s dedicated supporters raise funds by organising their own events on our behalf. Every week we receive emails full of brilliant ideas and offers of support. Without your help, quite simply, we would not be able to continue our vital research and awareness work into the male cancers. 

Why not join our Orchid supporters and organise your own fundraiser. You don’t need to run a marathon or organise a big fancy ball, even the simplest ideas can work wonders!

From bike rides to pub quizzes, comedy nights to balls, there are plenty of ways to support Orchid. 

• Raffles; A popular and relatively easy way to raise funds for Orchid is by holding a raffle for your friends and family. Click here for more hints and tips on holding a successful raffle. 
• Events Evenings; from pub quizzes to formal balls Orchid can help you every step along the way. 
• Charity Ball; Some of our most ambitious supporters have taken on the organisation of large scale balls. Check out our tips for organising similar events.

Schools Fundraising

Testicular cancer is the most common cancer to affect young men aged 15-35 years so fundraising for Orchid at your school is the perfect opportunity to raise awarenes of male specific cancers.

From non-uniform days to a bath of beans there are a lots of different ways you can join our ‘CHECKED OUT’ campaign.

How we can help

Whatever you choose to do, we’ll support you every step of the way. We’ll send you a fundraising pack full of ideas and advice, information about Orchid’s work and sponsor forms. We can also provide you with Orchid t-shirts, collection boxes, banners and balloons to jazz up any event! Download the Event Details Form below, fill it out telling us what you’re doing and when, and request any fundraising materials. We’ll then register you as an official Orchid fundraiser and send out your fundraising pack with any materials requested.
