Orchid Swim The Series

Take the plunge for Orchid and take part in an open water swim to help beat male cancer.  The British Gas Great Swims Series 2012 takes place in five locations across the UK: Strathclyde Loch, Lake Windermere, London’s Docklands, Salford Quays  and Alton Water in Suffolk. Open to everybody, you can choose from three distances, ½ mile, 1 mile or 2 mile. Over 20,000 swimmers took the plunge last year.  If you’d like to be one of them in 2012, we’ll give you all the support you need to take part and raise funds that will help save mens lives.

You will also get the chance to see some of the world’s top swimmers compete against one another in the elite race, and there are plenty of dry land activities to keep you and your supporters entertained throughout the day.  They are a great challenge in fabulous locations around the UK – don’t be left on the waters edge, sign up today!
