The winning student Elise Pellican commented: “When male cancer charity ORCHID approached London College of Fashion's BA (Hons) Fashion Illustration programme to design a T-Shirt in aid of their work, I was delighted to have an opportunity to put forward my designs to help a cause which doesn't always get the publicity it deserves.  I was so excited when the judging panel selected my design, I simply set out to create a T-Shirt that was playful and tongue-in-cheek, but with a quality classic feel that was discreetly informative. To have House of Fraser selling my design is unbelievable I can’t wait to see my design in store!”

Elise is pictured here alongside our Rugby stars Dominic Waldouck (Wasps), Guy Armitage (London Irish) and Joe Simpson (England and Wasps) at our t-shirt photo shoot brilliantly photographed by Madelaine Catherine Ferguson and her team.  Click here to view all the shots from the photo shoot.

Rebecca Porta, Chief Executive of Orchid, says: “Every year over 37,000 men are diagnosed with a male cancer. Raising awareness is vital and we are thrilled to be partnering with London College of Fashion and Raging Bull to produce this creatively powerful T-shirt that we believe will reach new audiences, encouraging greater awareness of male-specific cancer and raise funds for the charity.”

We are extremely grateful to London College of Fashion, Raging Bull, House of Fraser, our judging panel, rugby stars and photo shoot team for all their help and support with this exciting project.

This year's awareness week is all about the role women have to play in supporting men to be male cancer aware. So ladies why not buy a t-shirt for the men in your life!
