Lisa-Marie Gosling's Head Shave
During Orchid Male Cancer awareness week the very brave Lisa-Marie Gosling shaved off her previous locks for Orchid.
I decided to choose Orchid Male Cancer as i thought that there wasn't enough focus in the public eye for this kind of charity. I also wanted to make more men aware that they need to pay more attention to what is going on with their bodies.

Many weeks of planning went into the big shave which was to be held at the local pub. Support from Lisa-Marie's local community was overwhelming. Even the actual shave was donated for free by a local barber!
The day was a big success with over £600 being raised for Orchid through sponsorship, a raffle and the sale of some delicious cakes.
