Orchid 5K Blue River Run

Thank you to everyone who took part in the annual 5k Blue RIver Run on Wednesday 24th April 2013

The event which started and finished in Paternoster Square in the heart of London saw hundreds of Orchid supporters running to raise money and awareness for Male Cancer.

The route took runners past the historic St Pauls Cathedral and towards the River where they ran past some of London’s most iconic land marks before ending back in square.

The atmosphere on the day was fantastic with everyone dressed in blue and prizes for the most outrageous costume! All runners who signed up received a free t-shirt and goody bag too.

Over 43,000 men are affected by male cancer every year, the money raised from this event will be put towards helping to save men’s lives from testicular, prostate and penile cancer through pioneering research and promoting awareness.
