2 men… 1 boat … Two World Records… and awareness for male cancers
Congratulations!

At 16.40 GMT on 30 July 2009 Andrew Delaney and Guy Watts crossed the finish line of the Indian Ocean Rowing Race 2009 after 102 Days 13 hours and 40 minutes at sea becoming the first ever pair to cross the Indian Ocean in a rowing boat.
On their journey to the finish line Guy and Andrew have endured winds gusting up to force 10 and waves up to 10 meters. They have had encounters with sharks and whales and haven't slept for more than two hours at a time, this has been the ultimate challenge of physical and mental strength and endurance.
During the race they also took the record for the greatest distance completed in 7 days at 449 nautical miles.
