Orchid exists to save men's lives from testicular, prostate and penile cancers
through pioneering research and promoting awareness

Fundraising Zone

37,000 men will be diagnosed with a male-specific cancer this year;
each man a husband, father, son, brother, grandfather and friend.

Every penny you raise will make a real difference to these 37,000 men and their friends and family. We rely on your support to fund our work so thanks for choosing to fundraise for us.

Fundraising can be incredibly rewarding and fun with an endless list of options; quiz nights, dinner parties, car boot sales, cake bakes, race nights, fancy dress parties! There are literally hundreds of ideas out there but if the very thought of just getting started is leaving you feeling more than a bit daunted click on the following links for more information and advice;

How your fundraising will help Orchid

Your fundraising really will make a massive difference to our work.

£5 would pay for 50 public awareness leaflets - remember early diagnosis can save lives
£25 would provide a Know Your Balls DVD Resource Pack for a health centre, school prison or club
£100   would pay for the costs of a speaker giving a lecture on awareness in southern England – we want the opportunities to go further a field, more often, and in turn reach more people!
£300 would buy a microarray chip to analyse testicular or prostate tumour issue – we need to examine 20 or more for each patient
£700 would provide a computer work station for a research nurse
£1,000 would fund a day-long seminar for researchers/practitioners to share their knowledge which is critical in finding solutions
 £10,000
is the minimum needed to establish a clinical trials centre
