Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon
Sunday 12th of October, 2014
The Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon is the most beautiful city run in the world’s greatest city, with a stunning 13.1 mile autumnal route through four of London’s magnificent Royal Parks and past many of the capital’s world-famous landmarks. Taking in the Serpentine, Houses of Parliament, London Eye and Buckingham Palace, runners really have to concentrate if they want to beat their PBs!
Entry is just £15 and we ask each of our runners to raise £200, which is very acheivable and we will help you to reach this figure!
Over the last five years, the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon has raised more than £15m for causes around the UK, benefiting more than 455 partner charities. For the past two years it has been the UK’s second biggest fundraising event on Virgin Money Giving
We have 40 places available for the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday the 12th of October in 2014 so please get in touch if you are interested in running for us next year. Email email@example.com to register your interest.
We'll be here to help support you from registration to the finish line. As an Orchid runner you'll receive the following benefits:

Royal Parks Runner
Royal Parks Ultra
Sunday 12th of October, 2014
This challenging run starts in Hyde Park and finishes 50 epic km later in Bushy Park. The Royal Parks Foundation and Limelight Sports have taken all their experience of organising the multi-award winning Half Marathon and created a fully supported ultra-marathon with the same emphasis on excellence, inclusion and care, as well as a stunning route: runners take in the best of London’s cityscape, its world-famous river and beautiful parkland on their journey.
Taking place alongside the Half Marathon, runners benefit from the large-scale event atmosphere at the start, closed roads in central London, a supported route and a VIP experience at the finish. The full 50km is marshalled and signposted, with staffed checkpoints every 10km where runners can refuel, hydrate, use a loo and get medical attention if required. In between the checkpoints runners can use staffed water stations.
This is a great event for people looking for their next challenge after a marathon and we support our runners with training and preparation advice in the months leading up to the Royal Parks Foundation Ultra. Public places sold out in just 48 hours for the 2014 Ultra and demand is high. The only way to run is now with a charity place, or as part of a corporate team.
